Join a Small Group!
Our Small Groups are designed for intentional community, accountability and doing a journey together as a family. They provide an incredible opportunity to get connected with other believers, leadership training, and to grow through Bible studies and courses and by doing faith together while building meaningful friendships.
The Heart
We want people to be able to connect to our community – to create a family that always welcomes and embraces others. We want to make room at the table for everyone. We want our small groups to be a place of connection, care, outreach, leadership development and a safe place to grow and learn together. The central focus is others with the objective of learning how to live each day with Jesus at the centre.
Groups
Small Groups are a vital part of our life together at Catch the Fire. We would love you to be a part of the adventure as we continue to follow the Holy Spirits leading in these days. The groups will meet at various locations across our community. There are different types of groups running each term: Interest Groups, (Art Group, Moms and Tots, photography,) Courses, (Alpha, Fire Values, Marriage, Parenting, Hearing God’s Voice) and Bible Studies. The Holy Spirit is so creative, that really, the sky is the limit on what kind of groups may be running each term.
How it works
Small Groups start and finish on a term to term basis. The terms last between 8 to 10 weeks, depending on the time of year. They run as, Fall, (End of September/First week of October to December) Winter, (End of January/First of February to Mid March), and the Spring Term runs from, (Mid April to Mid-June). The summers are taken off.
Before each term there is a two or three-week run-up, where new groups will be introduced and folks are given an opportunity to sign-up.
