Evan and Shawna have been the senior leaders of Catch The Fire Church in Halifax since it began in 2013. They are a powerful team who together organize and minister to our church, and partner with other local ministries.

Leadership Team

When Evan and Shawna Maxwell became the senior leaders of Catch the Fire Halifax in 2013, it was not alone, but with a wonderful Leadership Team who felt the Lord wanted them to do a Church Plant. Each and every team member has a heart to see the Body of Christ, (His people), completely free and equipped; in order to make a radical impact for the Kingdom of God in our area. Our goal is that the whole earth would see His glory and His goodness and that all of us together would come to know the Love of God in deeper measures, and then give it away to the next person we meet.
